Make it bake it move it shake it day!
On Wednesday the 23rd of july all the grade 56’s from our school and other schools went to the high school to make it bake it move it and shake it!
Some of us cooked, sewed, soldered, played musical insruments and lots lots more.
It was a lovley day. In the morning it was quite cold but then it was like a beautiful summers day although it wasnt to hot neither cold it was great!
I done soldering and burnt my self a couple of times but i got over it! In sewing i made a blue scarf it was very easy.
The last session i learnt some French. I learnt how to say what is your name and my name is. My name is is prounounced je m’appelle Jakky and what is your name is comment tu t’appelle and i would answer with je m’appelle Jkky. In France they like to eat coisants with jam they are really yummy! So we had a croisant with jam!
Then it was home time i got on the bus and headed home i was sad that the day was over because i was having so much fun but fun has to stop at some point!

Better Buddies
On Thursday we met our Buddies.
My buddy’s name is Lara. She has one brother and he is in Grade 3. She has one dog, named Sally, her favorite color is light blue, Lara and I both go for Richmond.
So far we have made two things, a cube and our hand.
On our cube we have a picture of Lara and I and drawing of things we like.
Our hand has a small picture of each other, in our palm and running down the finger we have names of five special people.
On my hand I have my dad, my mum, my two sisters and last I have my dog.
On Lara’s hand she has her dad, her mum, her brother, her dog and a very special friend.
Lara isn’t shy, she is kind and funny.
Better Buddies
Madison is a lovely girl and my prep buddy for this year. Madison is in Miss H’s grade and loves to draw.
When I first went to meet Madison I was excited and Madison loved seeing all the grade sixes come into her grade. She asked me a few question and I asked her some. I now know she has a brother and sister in high school. Madison has 8 horses; she loves to go riding on weekends and in the holidays. Like me Madison loves dogs. She is crazy about them so when we did our cube I drew a picture of Rose and Madison drew a picture of her dog.
That night at the bus lines Madison came to our line and sat down, so I get to see my buddy twice as much as everyone else.
